Click on the "Certificates" option to access a dropdown menu and from the dropdown menu, select the specific fields you are interested in, such as Fingerprint, Issuer, Subject ALT Name, Subject, Misc, Validity, Signature, Signed Certificate Timestamp, Subject Key Info, Extensions, and Meta information.
Fingerprint: The fingerprint refers to a unique identifier generated from the certificate's cryptographic hash function. It is used to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the certification.
Issuer: The issuer field contains information about the entity that issued (signed) the certificate, typically a Certificate Authority (CA). This field includes the CA's name, organisation, and contact information.
Subject ALT Name: Subject Alternative Name (SAN) is an extension in the certificate that allows additional identities (such as domain names or IP addresses) to be associated with the certificate's subject. It provides flexibility in specifying multiple identities for the same certificate.
Subject: The subject field identifies the entity or the subject to which the certificate is issued. It contains the entity's name, organisation, location, and other identifying details.
Misc: The "Misc" field likely refers to miscellaneous information not covered by other specific areas. It can vary depending on the context or specific implementation.
Validity: The validity field specifies the period during which the certificate is considered valid. It includes the certificate's start date and time and its expiration date and time. Certificates outside this validity period are not considered valid for use.
Signature: The signature field contains the digital signature created by the issuer, which ensures the integrity and authenticity of the certificate. It is generated using the issuer's private key and can be verified using the corresponding public key.
Signed Certificate Timestamp: Signed Certificate Timestamps (SCTs) prove that a certificate has been logged in a Certificate Transparency (CT) log. CT is a mechanism for publicly logging credentials, enhancing their security and transparency.
Subject Key Info: The subject key information field contains details about the public key associated with the certificate's subject. It includes information such as the general key algorithm, key size, and other related parameters.
Extensions: The extensions field encompasses additional information or attributes that extend the functionality of the certificate. Examples of attachments include key usage, extended critical use, certificate policies, and subject alternative name.
Meta information: The meta information field generally refers to additional metadata or supplementary information associated with the certificate. It may include details about the certificate's origin, version, format, or other relevant information.
